Carol Jean Kolb
JANUARY 14, 1961 – FEBRUARY 25, 2015
Our beloved Carol Jean Kolb, 54, went to be with our Lord on February 25, 2015.
Carol was a lifelong resident of Austin, born on January 14, 1961. Carol worked for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas for more than 25 years.
Carol's passions included, spending time with her family, her beloved daughters, and her grandchildren. She loved music, playing her acoustic guitar and writing poetry.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, S. Lynn Kolb and Lt. Larry S. Kolb.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters; Leslie DesJardin and husband Mike, Lindsie Harlan and fiancé Bruce Sawdey; parents, Edna Elizabeth and Lester Fry; brother, Tommy L. Fry, sister, Sherlynn Kelley and husband Tom; grandchildren; Michael and Gabriel DesJardin; nephews, Jason and Jared Kelley, Jacob Barnes, and Patrick Kolb; uncle, Bobby Ray and wife Pam; aunt Elsie Hageman; numerous cousins and other relatives.
Burial was in the Smithwick Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
