Vicky Jones Jacoby
JANUARY 1, 1961 – JANUARY 26, 2010
Vicky Lynne Jacoby left for her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, after courageously battling cancer. She was born on January 1st, 1961 in Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father C.O. Jones Jr. and father-in-law Reginald Jacoby. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Randy Jacoby of Austin, son Bryan Rose and wife Joyce of Georgetown, mother Rosa Lee Jones of Lago Vista, brother Bruce Jones of Lago Vista, sister Sandra Howell of Elgin, and one grandson, Ayden Rose of Georgetown. She is also survived by four loving nephews, James, Kevin, Ricky, and David Howell of Elgin, as well as many other family and friends.
She volunteered as a Past Worthy Matron of Leander Chapter #73 Order of the Eastern Star, as well as the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo Founders Club.
A Celebration of her Life was held at Hyde Park Christian Church in Austin, officiated by Pastor David Mullins and Pastor Jimmy Sellers. In lieu of flowers, the family requested contributions be made in her memory to either: Eastern Star, 2204 Patriot Drive, Lago Vista, TX 78645, or Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo Founders Buyers Group, 9100 Decker Lake Road, Austin, TX 78724.
