Estella Andrada
JANUARY 7, 1961 – AUGUST 20, 2018


Estella Andrada passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018 at her home in Austin, Texas. Estella was 57 years of age.
Estella was born on January 7, 1961 in Austin to the late Manuel B. Andrada and Amelia (De la Rosa) Andrada.
Estella was a high school graduate of McCallum High School in Austin, Texas, Class of 1979. She has been a lifelong resident of Austin and was employed for over 37 years retiring in 2017 from the State of Texas working with the Department of Public Safety.
Estella was a warm, caring compassionate person who was known for placing the needs of others in front of hers. She was passionate about the great outdoors, was a huge Texas Longhorn fan, was a devoted collector of Disney and Mickey Mouse Display Items, and was the world’s most avid animal lover.
She will be forever remembered for her love of family, her generosity and her one of a kind smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her siblings, Aurora Samaniego, Adelina Jimenez, Rebecca Curtis and her husband Tom, Manuel Andrada and his wife Susie, Francisco Andrada, Sr. and his wife Janie; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, as well as countless friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Hortense Lockwood and one brother, Ruben Andrada.
A Funeral service was conducted at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Marcus Perez, Frankie Andrada, Pernell Lockwood, Joe Samaniego, Jr., Joseph Samaniego and Mark Anthony Andrada.
